Mrs Ursula Pagels

Greetings from Mrs Ursula Pagels:

“My name is Ursula Pagels. I am a Master Teacher of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana in Japan, the highest teaching degree available here in WA. I have been studying Ikebana for more than 40 years and have been teaching for 20 years. I have been awarded the Special Overseas Award from the Sogetsu School and a commendation from the Japanese Government.

I have exhibited, studied and attended numerous lessons and workshops on trips to Japan at the headquarters of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana in order to keep up with the latest updates. In Perth, I have had many works exhibited for Ikebana and ‘Art in Bloom’ at the Perth Art Gallery. My Ikebana arrangements are also regularly displayed at the residence of the Japanese Consulate Governor in Perth.

I am looking forward to the continuous growth of Sogetsu Ikebana in Perth.”
